Jet engine propulsion case study
In this case study, Dan Mooney shares where they were and what they did to significantly increase output. He describes the implementation of the Theory of Constraints solution for operations called Drum-Buffer-Rope and the rules they instituted to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their repair and assembly shops. He also shows how their traditional measurements were causing the wrong focus and how they changed them to increase flow in their production floor. Dan shares their new priority system and the obstacles (and corresponding solutions) they faced throughout the implementation.
