This presentation is about 10 years of experience implementing TOC to the animal farming industry. Based on the concept of flow for the supply chain, the presentation shows the assumptions that make this implementation different from any others, starting with very unstable supply of raw material, which can not be easily stored, and where production cannot be stopped without a significant loss. The Thinking Processes revealed how the standard policies in this industry were the blockages to improvement, and enabled the development of simple solutions. Two case studies are presented.
